FUTURIAN IS HONORED WITH 2009 MARK OF EXCELLENCE AWARD

Southlake, TX - February 6, 2009 – The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA®) announced today that Futurian Systems, Ltd. has won a 2009 Mark of Excellence Award, presented by CEA’s TechHome Division. CEA’s Mark of Excellence Awards honored Futurian Systems, Ltd. for outstanding achievement and innovation in trend setting custom home electronics. Award entries were reviewed by a panel of industry experts and submitted in two categories: Supplier and Systems Integrators.

The system which was awarded had seven individual Media Rooms, over 1,000 individual controlled lights, media stored and served up in 20 different zones, a high-speed WiFi network, camera surveillance covering every corner of the house, a robust control system to tie it all together, and that was just the beginning!

Futurian will be recognized at the Mark of Excellence Awards Dinner March 13, 2009 in conjunction with the tenth annual Electronic House Expo(EHX) Spring 2009.

Each year manufacturers, distributors and systems integrators enter to compete in award categories for this coveted honor. Each of the TechHome Mark of Excellence Awards categories has a four-member judging team comprised of systems integrators, manufacturers, members of the trade press and industry consultants to determine both finalists and winners.
